NStCB Wokha installs first ATM booth

Wokha, November 29 (DIPR): Inaugurating the new branch premises of Nagaland State Cooperative Bank, Wokha the bank has installed its first ATM Booth at Wokha Branch near SBI Wokha on November 29.  

The inaugural function was graced by Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Manazir Jeelani, IAS as the chief guest. Speaking during the inaugural function the chief guest, said today we have started the (NStCB) first ATM boot in the district which is a great landmark and achievement, and hope that more of such will be installed in coming days.  

Highlighting on the importance of banking correspondence he urged the NStCB staff to utilize banking correspondence effectively so that they can reach out to the rural populace. He also added NStCB is an indigenous bank in Nagaland which is the second largest bank next to SBI in Nagaland, so the responsibility of the bank is to go towards peoples for effective functioning.  

Addressing on the importance of loan recovery, Jeelani states that genuine customers should be identified while giving loans and avoid non performing groups/institutions so that loans are recovered on time and it should be seriously looked into. He also appealed to the NStCB staff to focus more on Co-corporate Social Activities (CSR) for the benefit of the customers.
