Participants of the NSUB sports meet 2018 which was held on November 9 and 10.
Bangalore, November 12 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Union Bangalore (NSUB) Sports Meet 2018 was conducted on November 9 and 10 at ITI ground, KR Puram, Benguluru.
The two day event was hosted by Viko Meru. The first day was graced by Khontele Seb, a theological research scholar and also currently serving as one of the advisors of Rengma Union Bangalore, followed by welcome speech from the NSUB President Nuthipru Nienu, who also promised the union that the following year will be a better sport event with whole lot of new sport and activities.
A speech was also delivered by Bendangyanger, Managing Partner, T6 International and also the Convenor of the Jubilee Committee for the upcoming NSUB Golden Jubilee Celebration. He exhorted on how sports has to offer an individual with three life skills that one must give its best, learn and come back stronger and to apply discipline in life and work.
Rules and regulations were outlined by NSUB Sports Secretary, Dominic Khansu, followed by oath taking led by Benjamin Varay, NSUB Assistant Sports Secretary.
The second day was graced by Vikato Achumi, NSUB treasurer.
The winners were awarded medals and certificates, with the Poumai community emerging as the overall champions. They also bagged the "best disciplined" team.
