New team of NSUI Kohima district with others.
Kohima, August 16 (MExN): The new team of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Kohima District had resumed its official function and its first executive gathering was held at Congress Bhavan, Kohima on August 13.
Addressing the members, NSUI Kohima dist president Seyievikho Linyü encouraged the members to be loyal and dedicated workers. He urged upon them to cherish the ideology of the party and should rise to the occasion when we could help the student community. The president further hinted that we should explore the talents and utilize the capabilities of the youth and preserve the image of students with utmost discipline. He stressed the need to maintain unity and understanding amongst the members and outlined some future programmes.
The meeting was chaired by general secretary Zasevinu while welcome address was delivered by vice president Neikethozo Sachü. Vote of thanks was proposed by joint secretary Imcharenla Jamir. Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress president Limayanba, representative of NSUI Nagaland unit, Mahila and frontal leaders of the Congress party also attended the meeting.
