Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): The Nagaland Table Tennis Association (NTTA) is set to conduct the 27th Inter-District & State Table Tennis Championship 2024 at Kohima Indoor Table Tennis Stadium from October 8-11. Advisor, Youth Resources & Sports S Keoshu Yimchunger will grace the opening ceremony as the special guest, a press release from NTTA media secretary stated.
Entries for team championship will be accepted through State District TT Association or through District Sports Council or through the district sports officer. The team championship will be played on league-cum-Knock out basis. Men’s category will be played in Swaythling cup and Corbillion cup system for Women’s category. The Individual events will also be played on league-cum-knock out basis. The rules and regulations of the game will be as per the TTFI system. Winners will be awarded cash and certificates in different categories of play: men & women team, men & women single, men & women doubles, boys & girls single (under19), boys & girls double (under 19), boys & girls single (under 15), veterans single (40+ & 50+), veterans double and mixed double.
The NTTA further requested all district associations to update the annual affiliation fee and a team manager meeting will be held on October 7 at 5:30 PM, NOA premises. Prospectus for the Championship can be collected from any NTTA officials or contact 7630961786/9856164059.
