A special examination will be conducted by the university for the affected students/NCC cadets, at a later date. In the meantime, students/NCC cadets shortlisted to attend the said camp(s) may be allowed to take provisional admission to the next semester.
Informing this, Col CST Swamy, Commanding Officer, 25 Naga Battalion NCC said the long-standing request by the NCC fraternity has been fulfilled by Nagaland University. He thanked Prof JK Patnaik, Vice Chancellor of NU for accepting the request and enabling the NCC cadets to excel in NCC activities.
The Republic Day Camp at Delhi Cantt and Republic Day Parade on ‘Kartavya Path’ are the most coveted NCC training events which every NCC cadet aspires to take part in.
