Kohima, October 12 (MExN): The Nagaland University, Tenyidie Department will be celebrating its silver jubilee at Ura Academy Hall, Kohima on October 15 at 10:30 AM.
To commemorate the milestone, Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu, President of Ura Academy will release a souvenir and address the gathering.
Greetings will be shared by Professor Buno Zetsuvi, administrative in-charge of Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, Dean, School of Education and Humanities.
Professor D Kuolie, retired HoD, department of Linguistics will present the history and significance of the formation of Tenyidie Department at Nagaland University.
Welcome address will be delivered by Dr Petekhrienuo Sorhie, HoD, Department of Tenyidie.
Dr Metuo Liezietsu, Assistant Professor, department of Tenyidie will lead the programme.
Among other highlights of the programmes, the solemn formal session of the Jubilee celebration, will be followed by a talent show.
The organisers have invited all the alumni of the department, students and well wishers to join the celebration.
