Dimapur, May 12 (MExN): The Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI), Dimapur Unit, celebrated International Nurses’ Day on Tuesday at the Chapel Hall, Medical Fellowship, District Hospital Dimapur (DHD), with the theme “Our Nurses, Our Future: Empowered Nurses Save Lives.”

Speaking on the occasion, Dr George Thirah, Medical Superintendent of DHD, said nurses are the backbone of healthcare and asserted that while artificial intelligence is replacing many jobs, nursing cannot be automated. “Nursing is not merely a profession, it is a calling,” he said.
