NWHD alleges biasness in disclosing test results

Urges to install BSL-3 Lab in Dimapur COVID-19 Hospital

Dimapur, August 1 (MExN): The Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) has questioned the “biasness in disclosing the test results where for instance the results of samples taken later are declared much earlier than the sample taken much before it.”

The NWHD in a press release reminded the state Government that Dimapur has hosted thousands of returnees in the past few months which make it most vulnerable for the spread of virus putting the District at higher risk.

With the increase in COVID-19 positive cases such lapses in the Test Laboratory and delay in samples results would worsen the situation, the Hoho added.

Therefore, NWHD stated that the district should be made fully prepared for any circumstances in the days to come.

The women hoho also extended their support to the issue raised by the Naga Council Dimapur on July 30. It expressed their concern over the matter in question of BSL-2 Lab at CIHSR which rendered out of service. “In this matter, we request the state Government to look in the situation at the earliest and ensure that such lapse does not arise in the future,” NWHD stated.

“We strongly support the statement made by Naga Council Dimapur and urge the Government to immediately install BSL-3 Lab at Dimapur COVID-19 Hospital,” it appealed.
