Dimapur, October 16 (MExN): Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) in its meeting held on October 16 announced that the golden jubilee of the Hoho will be commemorated on November 24 at Dimapur District Sports Complex under the theme ‘The year of liberty.’
According to a press release from Information & Publicity Secretary of NWHD, the Hoho president Nungshirenla Aier apprised each unit that the golden jubilee celebration is a vital milestone to recapitulate on how God had faithfully walked with the organization and also a time to look forward with renewed hope and goal. It is also a time to uphold each other to witness God’s grace in deliberating “our” funds and resources, she added.
T Terhüja, the Advisor encouraged NWHD to co-exist with their differences as “we need each other to prospect to acquire our dreams in reality.”
This was followed by mass prayer to bless and lead all the planning committee members to envision NWHD journey, the release added.
NWHD also declared that October and November, 2017 are months of prayer for Naga political groups to unite for early solution and the State government to reconcile and lead the Nagas to early solution, keeping in mind the concept of the Hoho golden jubilee to “forgive and reconcile”.
Naga women in general, the release stated, “have vital role to play at this juncture; our role to pray and fast for our leaders, especially the team of FNR to bring acceptable solution to all Nagas.”
