Dimapur, June 27 (MExN): The Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) on Saturday organised a one-day skill-based development workshop for women, focusing on environmental awareness, food preservation and natural skincare.

The workshop was held at the Potentia Building in Nagarjan Junction, Dimapur, and was attended by representatives of all nine federating tribes under the organisation, according to a statement.

The programme featured a session on waste management and environmental awareness by Adrian M Mahung, consultant with Dimapur Municipal Council's waste management programme and an environmentalist.

Participants also received practical training in pickle making and preservation from Gaily Trakha, while Mulung Pongen, founder of Istinatural and a natural skincare formulator, conducted a demonstration on preparing homemade skin and hair care products.

NWHD thanked the resource persons and participants for contributing to the success of the workshop and reaffirmed its commitment to empowering women through skill development, environmental awareness and community engagement.
