Mokokchung, August 5 (MExN): The Officers’ Club, Mokokchung (OCM) organized a felicitation programme for HSLC and HSSLC Toppers (2020 & 2021) at the Conference Hall of ADC (Planning) Mokokchung today August 5.
A DIPR report stated that the Superintendent of Police, Mokokchung, Vishal IPS, while delivering a short speech on behalf of OCM called upon the students to be honest to oneself and others in life. Vishal also thanked the parents and the teachers for all their support and motivations towards the young minds. He mentioned his appreciation towards OCM for doing great initiative in creating opportunity for everyone present.
Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir, who handed over the citation and cash award to the toppers also urged the students to dream big and to have goals in life. He also thanked both the parents and the teachers for giving their best in molding the children and maintained that their contribution and dedication would benefit not only the children but the society as a whole.
DC while appreciating the OCM for their initiative and noble gesture also asked the members to be the torch bearer and to guide the students in days to come.
On behalf of the toppers, short speech was delivered by Talinungsang Imchen (Queen Mary Higher Secondary School), vote of thanks was proposed by Er Temsuwati DIO, Mokokchung while EAC (HQ), Vitolu chaired the programme.
