Dimapur, October 15 (MExN): The Nokte Baptist Church Association, on October 12 organised a ‘Get Together’ programme with Nokte gazetted officers, professionals and businessmen at its mission center, Poakkoam under Tirap district in Arunachal Pradesh.
The resource persons in the program were ABAM Sunday School Co-ordinator Chubatemjen Ozukum, Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Sunep Imchen and Tir Yimyim editor K. Temjen Jamir.
They encouraged the gazetted officers, professionals and businessmen from Nokte tribe of Arunachal Pradesh to get themselves actively involved in mission works and serve people as a Christian agent of change in the society.
The Nokte Baptist mission was established by Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang and will be completing 25 years of its sponsorship in 2018. Rev. Asenba Imsong is currently supervising the mission field as Field Director. The mission is also runing a school upto class 10, informed a press note received here.
