On CM Corpus Fund 2005 at Wokha

I do not understand what is meant by eligible if  genuine candidates are discriminated, their forms unmercifully rejected over a flimsy reason. My form was rejected because of the reason I did not include the unemployed certificate. Ok that is my fault. Partly. Since I did not get hold of the guidelines for 2005-06 CM Corpus fund. However, I did mention clearly in my affidavit that I am an unemployed youth.

Moreover, when I approached the planning office they were at a lost what to include and not what to include along with the form. The Planning Officer even confessed that out of 100 forms (CM Corpus form) there was not even a single guideline included. So the Planning Office staff direction was that, “If you are going to get it you will get (meant if you have backing). If you are not going to get it, either your form may be rejected or you will not get through the interview. So the question of whether the required documents are properly attached or not does not arise. The only thing of concern is whether you have channel or not.”

Any welfare scheme of the government is considered successful if it reach the targeted group. And I think the CM Corpus fund is intended for educated unemployed to generate self employment. Other than that this fund should not be sidetracked. But then in the eligible list that was prepared by the board and pasted near the front door of the DC Office Wokha  on the day of the interview, there included name who is employed in some govt. office and even included a name who was deceased a number of years ago! Then was it fair on the scrutiny board? Or the selection board to give double benefit to a particular person? Or the rightful persons forms conspiratorially rejected to give way to their candidates who do not read even upto cl-3 or is employed? Such is the working of the government establishment. I do not mean to sound callous as to go against some govt. officials but then I believe in what I’m writing. It is disgusting to note such practices.
