Longleng, February 27 (MExN): The District Administration & Mahila Shakti Kendra, Longleng in collaboration with Phom Students Conference conducted a one-day career guidance seminar for school students on February 26.
Gimchuile, Lolisangla and Vikhotono, who are currently pursuing Master of Science in Psychology & Counseling at Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong, were the resource persons of the seminar. As per a DIPR report, Gimchuile spoke on the topic , “What is Career?” and the difference between a career and a job while Vikhotono explained on “Aptitude & Interest” and “Career Developmental Stages & Lack of Career Success.”
Lolisangla shared on the topic, “Career information & Importance of Career Information.” Earlier, PSC President N Dape Phom, in his welcome address, appreciated the District Administration, MSK-DLCW Longleng for organising the seminar.
Trongdiba T Sangtam, SDO(C) & Nodal Officer BBBP Longleng also shared on failure and success in life based on his personal experiences. “Success can never be static or one spot destination and that it has to be continuous struggle and hard work,” he added. The seminar ended with vote of thanks by Tutinungla Phom, Dist-coordinator MSK-DLCW.
