Dimapur, October 14 (MExN): The true object of religion is to bind mankind together, and to bind them to God. There are so many budding churches and a ministry of different denominations that it almost seems that Christianity is not singular. However, God is our common Father and we are all his property. Let people recognize each others opinions and have a common platform of action. We need to prove to the world that Christianity at large can exist happily with our differences and yet have a common understanding. Songs of praise and worship are gestures of a worshipping community and, in all spirit and an attempt to bring churches and ministries of different denominations on one platform, City Faith Church, Dimapur organized a first of its kind ‘inter denominational combine fellowship’ and musical programme on October 12, 2007 at IMC Hall, Dimapur. The crowd was enthralled by a host of talents. Both young and old people were up in the show, creating a sense of pride for the organizers. The programme witnessed enormous display of talent from child prodigies who were undoubtedly expressing signs and symbols of celebrations. There was a common vibe among the worshippers and not for once did it seem like the people were from different churches or ministries as they worshipped in one language. Showers of praises and appreciations came in for City Faith Church all the way.
For ensuring its success and spontaneity of those present at the programme, the organizer, City Faith Church has expressed gratitude and appreciation to all the participants, well wishers and volunteers.
