A sixteen year old boy from Aghunato town was killed while another boy was rendered unconscious when they were struck by lightning on Saturday.
Sources said the deceased, Kughato, died on the spot while the other recovered after receiving first aid.
The incident took place Saturday afternoon when the boys were working in the jhum fields with their families.
