Dimapur, June 4 (MExN): The Dimapur police today informed that an unidentified male pedestrian was declared brought dead to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle on the morning of June 4 at 2 ½ Mile, Dimapur.
The incident occurred around 7 AM when the deceased, suspected to be a beggar, was hit by an Alto car bearing Registration No. AS12J2489, the police said.
The injured pedestrian was immediately taken to Olive Hospital for medical treatment, but the doctor declared him brought dead, stated a press release issued by the Dimapur Police PRO.
The police described the deceased as a ‘non-local male’ wearing black track pant, with a mole on the front right shoulder and a mole on the upper left eyelid.
On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for Post-mortem examination/identification
