Peren, July 31 (MExN): District Level Centre for Women under 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' in collaboration with District Administration Peren organized an online essay competition under Peren District on the topic ‘Break the Silence, Break the Chains’ on account of World Day against Human Trafficking in Persons on July 30.
A DIPR report stated that all together 12 students from the category of 9-12 participated in the competition.
On behalf of Deputy Commissioner, Peren, EAC Peren & EAC Jalukie handed over the prize to the best three winners.
The first prize was bagged by Lemchila of Government Higher, Secondary School, Peren; Second by Suiyidaule of Pranab Vidyapith Hr Sec School, Dimapur; and third by Iheichu Haibwang of Government Hr Sec School.
The winners walked away with a cash prize of Rs 3000, Rs 2000 and Rs 1000.
