Open Super Six Cricket Tournament held

Kohima, March 12 (MExN): The second edition of the Open Super Six Cricket Tournament organized by Adjustment Bureau, Kohima under the theme ‘Pursue Oneness’ commenced on March 11. Altogether, 10 teams are participating in the tournament. 

The Juggernauts defeated Kohima Hornbills Cricket Club in the finals to win the first prize, a cash award of Rs 25,000 while the runner up walked away with Rs 8000 along with certificates. 

Swelul Pucho, Chairman Tsiepfü Tsiepfhe Council, Kohima graced the inaugural event as special guest.  In his address, Pucho regretted the sad reality of today’s youth where many are involved in drugs, alcohol addiction and mobile games. He encouraged the youth to take up sports with genuine discipline and bring about positive change in the society. 

The event ended with a vote of thanks by Anato Sema, convenor of the organizing committee who gave away the prizes along with Kevichüto Yhoshü, president of Adjustment Bureau.
