Good news for farmers of Kohima district. The Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee (APMC), Kohima in collaboration with Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) in its novel venture of “Creation of daily marketing area for farmers under Kohima district ” today brought the farmers of Kohima district together here at AMK Building, near DC Office to sell the organic produces.
The location, (Ground floor of AMK Building) will henceforth act as designated daily market area for dealing and selling organic vegetables, wild vegetables, fruits etc.
KMC administrator Kovi Meyase called upon the farmers to make the best use of this provided market area. He also called upon them to be customer friendly and sell the organic produces at reasonable rate to sustain their venture.
Kevinourheno Seyie, chairman APMC Kohima said this market will be opened daily except Sunday.
