Orgs, individuals mourn late Dr Hekha demise

Dimapur, March 6 (MExN): The Naga Students Federation (NSF) has grieved the sudden demise of Dr. S Hekha on February 28, who was the former Director, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry and the Founder of Modern College Kohima.
“As a philanthropic in nature, he has extended his selfless support to the students’ community and also for the cause of the Nagas. He is a trendsetter for a responsible citizen of Nagas, the words dynamism and versatility closely associated with his character, his demise is a great loss not only to the family but also to all the Nagas. His absence in our society will leave a vacuum, which will be hard to replace”, it stated in a condolence note.
The NSF also conveyed its condolence to the bereaved family members and the relatives.

Tenyimi Union Jalukie
The Tenyimi Union Jalukie (TUJ) has mourned the untimely demise of Dr. S. Hekha Mao. “…he was a man of action as he had proved it from his works. His death has created a big vacuum in our society and it will be very difficult to fill up. Yet let his goodness and sincerity inspires us although he has left us for his heavenly abode. May his soul rest in peace with our Lord. TUJ further conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family members,” stated the union in a condolence note.

Pfosena Union (Pfosemei), Kohima Unit
The Pfosena Union (Pfosemei), Kohima Unit has expressed grief and sorrow over the untimely death of Dr.S.Hekha. In a condolence massage, the union had stated that the Nagas in general and Mao community in particular have lost an outstanding leader, a great entrepreneur and a successful father of the children. The union conveys its deepest condolence to the bereaved family.

MLA KV Pusa
MLA KV Pusa has mourned the sudden demise of Dr. S Hekha Mao. “With the death of Dr. Hekha, Nagas have lost an intellectual and a professional person. As a government servant he had dedicated his sincere services for the welfare of Naga people. His death has also created a vacuum in Naga society. In this hour of pain and sorrow I convey my deepest condolences to the bereaved family and pray to Almighty God to grant solace to the family members and peace to the departed soul,” he stated in a condolence note.

Pfokrehrii James Krichena has expressed grief over the untimely demise of late Dr. S Hekha
Krichena of Shajouba. In a condolence message, he said: “Krichena of Shajouba.Doctor it’s a big shock to hear that you are no more in this world. You called me several times to meet you, but due to unavoidable circumstances and different occupation I was not able to meet you in time. Brother please pardon me. You are my teacher, my advisor but though you are no more physically in this world, you will keep on being my inspiration. On 2nd march 2011, I came to meet you but you were laying there silently in the coffin, I call your name but there was no reply. I was filled with sorrow that I could not control myself and went away as quickly as I came. I belief it is a great lost to the Krichetemai Pfutta, villagers, Ememai community and Nagas in general. Doctor, we shall meet again God’s prepare place. I pray that your soul will rest in Peace and conveyed my humble condolence to the bereaved family members.”
Mao Students' Union Kohima
The Mao students’’ union, Kohima condoles the sudden and untimely demise of late Dr. S. Hekha Mao, A condolence message stated that his death is a great loss for the people of Mao Tribe and to the student body adding that late Hekha’s concern and help to the student body would not go unnoticed with his death. The union also conveyed its condolence to the bereaved family and shares their sorrows while remembering them in prayer that God would grant comfort during this very difficult time .

The management and staff of Immanuel College, Lingrijan, Dimapur has conveyed their sincere condolence to the bereaved family of Dr S Hekha Mao. A condolence note stated that he was a man of great intellect and talent, which is quite evident from his impressive lifetime achievements.

The Mao Hoho Dimapur has expressed its profound sorrow over the sudden demise of Dr. S Hekha. “The Nagas, particularly the Mao community have lost a man of strong able character and "mentorship". May the bereaved family find strength and comfort in this time of strives of life,” stated the hoho in a condolence note.

The pastor of Shajouba Baptist Church on behave of the church members has expressed grief over the sudden death of Dr. S Hekha. A condolence note stated that late Dr. Hekha was a selfless man who had done so much for the welfare of the church as well as village. The church has also conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members.
