Orientation on ‘Learning Outcomes’ held at Tseminyu

Tseminyu, October 21 (MExN): EBRC Tseminyu conducted orientation on ‘Learning Outcomes’ for elementary teachers under SDEO Tseminyu on October 20 and 21 at Town Hall Tseminyu.  

In the inaugural session, Ramdi Thou, SDEO Tseminyu emphasized on imparting quality education to students and urged upon teaching fraternity to refresh, update and equip themselves with the skills of teachings making use of technology to enhance their professionalism. He challenged participated teachers to be sincere and increased enrolment of students in government schools in the next academic session.  

The programme was convened by Rushulo Khing, Coordinator EBRC Tseminyu. Lilekle, ToTs dwelled on keynote address on Learning Outcomes. Later, subject teachers were divided into groups for orientation on Science, English, Maths, and Social Science/EVS along with topics on Constructivist approach and five E's i.e engage, explore, explain, elaborate or extend and evaluate. Resource persons were Hinilo Cheng, ToTs (Science), Francis Magh, ToTs (English), Angela Semy, ToTs (Social Science & EVS), and Soti Tep, ToTs (Maths).  

According to a press release, demonstration on each subjects were demonstrated by teachers followed by feedback session. Altogether 270 teachers participated at the orientation programme.
