Kohima, May 29 (MExN): A one day orientation on professionalism and empowerment of teachers was held on May 28 at Dzulha village under Phek district. Organized by “Pick a Book Nagaland,” the programme covered the topic 'Search for Your Meaning,’ ‘Know Your Profession’ and ‘Know Your Powers.’ Dr Zavise Rume, Professor, SCERT, Nagaland spoke on the topic 'Basic skills of teaching' and 'Professional code of ethics for Teachers.' Khovelu Naroh spoke on the topic 'Strategies of teaching language and role of teachers in language development'. Vezito Tetseo, founder of ‘Pick a Book Nagaland’ was the facilitator of the orientation programme while Veposelu Naroh, co-founder proposed the vote of thanks.
