Outreach Programme for IRHS held at NFR Central Hospital

Guwahati, October 11 (MExN):  An outreach programme for IRHS (Indian Railway Health Service) officers was conducted by the National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR), Vadodara at the North East Frontier (NFR) Railway Central Hospital, Maligaon recently. About 30 doctors participated in the programme virtually from different divisions of NFR and it was attended virtually by the Pr. Chief Medical Directors of different zones spreading all over Indian Railways, informed an official NFR release. The first of its kind programme was held in hybrid mode with speakers participating both online and offline and several topical topics of importance on health administration and industrial health were covered by the speakers during their presentations, it said. Dr Kamlesh Gosai, Deputy Director General/NAIR delivered the welcome address while Dr GK Chakraborty, Pr. Chief Medical Director, NFR delivered the inaugural address. Dr Vijay Kumar, acting Director General, Railway Health Service, New Delhi delivered the key note address respectively.
