Oziepik FC wins Tuensang District Football Association Cup

The closing ceremony of the Tuensang District Football Association (TDFA) Cup organised by TDFA was held at Parade Ground, Tuensang on December 16. Kedolhuto Penyu, Executive Engineer, PHED Tuensang graced the occasion as the special guest.

Oziepik FC won the final match against Veteran United by a score margin of 7-1. The champion walked away with a cash prize of Rs 70,000 along with trophy, medals and certificates. The runners-up received a cash prize of Rs 40,000 along with medals and certificates.

The winners of the individual categories were as follows: Golden Ball -Longshi Khiam of Oziepik FC; Golden Boot - Sangtsoi of Oziepik FC; and Golden Glove - Tiarenba of DEF Tuensang.

The individual winners were awarded a cash prize of Rs 5000 each along with certificate.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by E Saotola Chang while invocation was spoken by Laipan, Associate Pastor Women, Lotha Baptist Church, Tuensang.

Welcome address was delivered by Thsapong Sangtam, Secretary, Organising Committee, TDFA.

Gabriel Changlim Chang performed a special number while vote of thanks was delivered by Yangdipi Sangtam, President TDFA and benediction was spoken by Khumjong Sangtam, Associate Pastor, Police Baptist Church, Tuensang.
