KOHIMA, NOVEMBER 4 (MExN): MLA & Chairman of the Committee on Public Accounts, MhathungYanthan, has convened the Oral Evidence Meeting of the Public Accounts Committee, Nagaland Legislative Assembly with the departmental representatives at 11 AM on November 14 & 15, 2023, a DIPR report stated.
The departments to be taken up on November 14 are Finance Department (Treasuries & Accounts/Revenue/Taxation/Nagaland State Lotteries/State Finances) while the departments of Planning & Coordination, Municipal Affairs, Motor Vehicles, Rural Development, PHED and Horticulture Department will be taken up on November 15.
The Committee will take oral evidence on the Audit para (s) of the government departments on the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India 2019-2020. Therefore, all the AHODs and the HODs of the concerned Departments are informed to be present on the specified dates, to tender evidence before the Committee.
All the concerned committee members are also requested to kindly make it convenient to attend the meeting on the date and time as aforesaid.
