Mokokchung, April 9 (MexN): Creative Hearts in collaboration with Art Club Jubilee Memorial College will be organizing a painting competition and an art exhibition and sale from various homegrown artists from Mokokchung on 15 April in commemoration of World Art Day.
The competition will be open to three categories of artists: Category I - Class 5 to Class 8, Category II - Class 9 to 12 and Category III - Open Category (College students and Age 19 & above).The top three winners will win cash prizes, including a certificate. The winning artworks will also be showcased at the exhibition.Top winners from Category I and II will be also given free admission to Creative Hearts Summer Art Camptentatively in the month of June, 2023.
Alongdi Longchar, one of the organizing members, in a press release stated “We are lookingfor talented artists to showcase their skills and creativity in the painting competition.” The theme of the competition is "The Beauty of Nature" where the organizers want to see the interpretation of the natural world, from landscapes to seascapes, and everything in between.
