Pakistan violates ceasefire in J&K's Poonch district

JAMMU, APRIL 12 (IANS): Pakistan army violated bilateral ceasefire on the line of control (LoC) in J&K's Poonch district on Sunday.
"Around 1.40 p.m., Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by small arms firing and intense shelling with mortars in the Kirni and Qasba sectors of the Poonch district. Indian army is retaliating befittingly," Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Devender Anand told IANS.
On Saturday also Pakistan army resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling in the Balakote sector of the same district.
