Panel to study strength and weaknesses of Communitisation Act

Peren, September 28 (MExN): Convenor of Communitisation of Public Institutions & Services Act 2002, Banuo Z Jamir, IAS (Rtd) along with member secretary, John Lohe and other officials visited Peren on September 27. The team held a district level consultative meeting with the Administrative Officers of the District and Heads of Offices at DC's Conference Hall, Peren, stated a DIPR report.

Addressing the meeting, Banuo Z Jamir stated the panel was constituted the previous year in the month of July and will study the strength and weaknesses of the Communitisation of Public Institutions & Services Act, 2002 covering all the public services covered under the Act. She also said the main purpose of the visit was to ascertain the impact of communitisation at the village level development process. 

Jamir also gave a PowerPoint presentation on proposed questionnaires prepared for all the line Department while she asked them to give an honest feedback and submit the same through email on or before October 15.

Earlier, District Rural Development Agency, Peren organised a one-day orientation programme for District level line Department Officials on People’s plan Campaign 2021-2022 at DC's Conference Hall, Peren under the chairmanship of DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS where Project Director (PD), Moa Sangtam gave a brief highlight on Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP), while a short PowerPoint presentation on Village Poverty Reduction Plan was done by ADPM (DDMU), Ruuvilie Kotsu.

Further, PD, Moa Sangtam also called for active cooperation from all the line department in-order to make this campaign a success.
