Partial lockdown in Dmp from July 26 to Aug 2

DIMAPUR, JULY 23 (MExN): As the number of COVID-19 cases in the State continues to rise, a partial lockdown will be imposed in Dimapur beginning July 26. The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur issued an order today informing imposition of the lockdown in Dimapur district from July 26 to August 2. 

Dimapur lockdown guidelines
•    Only shops dealing with essential commodities will be opened for public from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. 
•    Wholesale markets will remain open from 5:00 am to 9:00 am only 
•    Vegetable vendors will be allowed to sell vegetables in the colonies/villages only and not in the main market.
•    New Market, Hongkong Market, Hazi Park, Millennium Market, Railway bazaar and Vegetable market at Purana Bazar will continue to remain closed completely. 
•    Public are directed to buy essential commodities from their respective colonies/village shops. 
•    As the lockdown is enforced in the State, movement of all public are restricted except those coming out to avail essential services. 
•    In all the essential commodity shops, social distancing has to be strictly maintained and adhered to. 
•    Inter-State, Inter District and Inter Village Movement is restricted. 
•    Odd-even system of vehicle traffic to continue. 

Exceptions
Movement of Medical Emergency cases and Essential goods and services with proper safety measures, autos/taxis are allowed to ply with only one passenger following all necessary SOPs, District Administration, Police, Security Forces, Medical and Essential Service Providers like Treasury, Fire & Emergency Service, Home Guards & Civil Defence, Prisons, PHED, Power, NIC, Media, DIPR, Food & Civil Supplies, Social Welfare, IT &C, Municipality/Town Council, AIR, Doordarshan, Pharmacies, Medical Clinics, Nursing Homes, BSNL & Private Telecom Services, Internet Service Providers, LPG, Banks with minimal staff & ATMs and petroleum outlets.
