The 35th meet of Phek Area Sports Association (PASA) commenced at Lozaphuhu village on January 21.

Addressing the opening ceremony as the special guest, MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, leader NPF Legislature party challenged the youth to focus more in doing good and what is right rather than doing all the wrong things.

"Let us focus on work and eat policy rather that ask and eat,” he said.

He also stressed on the need to be hard working, honest in all our dealings and put God almighty first and be a true spiritual Christian and promote God's kingdom. “Because at the end of the day, all that matters is saving ones soul and nothing besides that will matter as your position, your wealth and your knowledge will not give you eternal life,” he said. “It is your honesty, your behaviour, your approaches and humanitarian works that will matter,” he added.

Earlier, PASA President, Kudezo Vero delivered presidential address. Ludoveyi Vero, president, Tizu Area Sports Association shared greetings. Savoto Rhakho, Games & Sports Secretary, PASA administered oath to the participating teams.

The meet will continue till January 25.
