Dimapur, May 27 (MExN): The Department of power, Office of the Executive Engineer, Dimapur Electrical Division has once again made the request and encouraged the consumers to pay their Electricity bill online in order to avoid crowding at the payment counters and to reduce the risk of spreading the disease.
Consumers can pay their electricity bill through the following option: web portal-www.dopn.gov.in; wallet- paytm; app - dopn which can be downloaded from google play store.
Dimapur Electrical Division, Executive Engineer, Imsenkaba in a press release stated that this extra steps will help to avoid crowding at the cash counter for collecting electricity bills, reduce the amount of cash transaction since cash is a major carrier of all kinds of virus and bacteria, reduce the time and energy spent to reach the cash counter saving the environment by reducing the fuel burnt and also save the money spent on the fuel.
