
Kohima, January 28 (MEXN): The ongoing Pesocha Baptist Church Council (PBCC) Youth 44th Convention cum Music fest under the theme ‘You are my witness’ (Isaiah 43:10), and hosted by Nerhema Baptist Church under Kohima on Saturday enters day two.
In the morning service, Khrienuo Moa, managing director, G. Rio School, Kohima was the speaker and she preached about the grace of God through the redemption of Jesus Christ on the cross despite mankind falling short from the glory of God.
She highlighted the story of Paul who was persecuting Christ but when he came to the Lord, he called himself a ‘chief sinner’ and life changed and she pointed out the grace that propelled among the Christians.
Towards this, the speaker makes the congregation ponder the bountiful blessings and providence they had received in their life and challenged them to live their life for Christ which is in demand to go for His mission.
“If we are not having the burden to go out to tell people about this great thing, we ourselves are the ‘mission field’ and we are ‘an obese’ in the spiritual being,” said Moa, adding that the will of God today is to let mankind receive his grace and salvation.
Further she challenged the gathering to keep their faith strong and urged them that being in their youthful days, they are in prime stage to serve God, although the mission calling doesn’t have an age bar.
The programme was led by Ruokuosienuo Suohu, Koinonia Baptist Church presented a choral piece while special songs were presented by Teichüma BKK and Tsiemekhu Basa BKK and scripture were read out by Thepfuchatuo Mere and Mercy Thepa.
Later in the evening service, Mengusielie Kesiyie Youth Director, Pesocha Baptist Church Council was the speaker told the youth to be the light of the world and to do that, he exhorts the congregation to Christian that bear fruits spiritually.
He called upon the youth to re-commit their lives to Christ by obeying, fearing and living for Him and live in the likeness of Christ.
The programme was led by Keneingulie Rüpreo, Choral piece was presented by Khedi Baptist Church, special songs were presented by Nerhe Phezha BKK and Viphoma BKK and scripture were read out by Viphrezo Theünuo and Rüdivinuo Kense.
