Pfutsero, May 23 (MExN): People's Democratic Alliance (PDA) on May 22 held a campaign rally at Pfutsero town centre in view of the Lok Sabha bye-elections.
According to a press release issued by media cell, PDA Phek, Neiba Kronu, PDA Coordination Committee Convenor, Phek District and Minister for Planning, Coordination & Land Revenue, called upon all sections of the people to come forward and extend support to the State Government for stability, decisive leadership, development, good governance and improving the overall welfare of all sections of the people.
Stating that senior leader, Tokheho Yepthomi is the ‘most capable and seasoned politician’ to represent the people for Naga issue which is yet to be resolved, he asked the public to join the government for the MP Lok Sabha election and not be swayed away by false propagandas being spread by NPF, the release added.
He reiterated that the PDA Government is rock solid and no force will be able to shake it, he added that “the State government under the leadership of Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio is going smoothly and shall complete the tenure and beyond.” He also mentioned about the mega development projects that the government is working on and is committed to bring all round development as promised.
NDPP Working President and Ex MLA, Nuzota Swuro appealed to the people to come forward, extend support and be a part of the government for development and good leadership.
Former Minister and Advisor NPP, Deo Nukhu and Vivolie Kezo also spoke in support of PDA candidate at the rally.
