Peren DC announces activities for Khelma visit on January 14

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 12 (MExN): Peren Deputy Commissioner Hiazu Meru has announced a series of activities scheduled to take place during the visit of the Deputy Commissioner and other district officials to Khelma on January 14.

The initiatives, aimed at benefiting various sections of the community, include Aadhaar enrollment for all citizens, overseen by the District Administration. Eligible mothers can register under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) through the District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), Peren. The Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Peren, will facilitate registration for the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) for eligible citizens.

In addition, a medical camp will be organized for all residents, jointly conducted by the CMO and DHEW, Peren. The Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (SCK), Peren, will host a financial literacy camp and an entrepreneurs' awareness camp, specifically targeting entrepreneurs and unemployed youths. For adolescent girls, there will be an awareness session on menstrual health, accompanied by the distribution of hygiene kits by DHEW, Peren.

The Deputy Commissioner has directed all concerned departments and officials to assemble at the Council Hall in Khelma by 10:00 a.m. on January 14.
