
Peren, November 17 (MExN): The Peren District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) on Tuesday approved several agendas including the introduction of helicopter service between Dimapur and Tening ADC headquarter once in a week and restoration of road damaged by monsoon rains along Peren-Nsong Circle.
Updates from the state DIPR informed that the monthly Board meeting was held at DC's Conference Hall, Peren with board chairperson and Advisor for Water Resources, Namri Nchang on November 17.
The meeting also discussed matters regarding the celebration of Peren district’s 75th year while registration of society-Peren District Common Service Centre Village level Entrepreneur was deferred to be discussed in the next meeting.
According to the DIPR, the Advisor cautioned the Heads of Departments and their subordinate staff to be in station and carry out their work with utmost sincerity. He also directed Peren Deputy Commissioner to check the attendance record of every department. In case of any complaints regarding irregularities of government employees, it will be dealt with appropriate action, he said.
