Peren, January 6 (MExN): The Peren District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) first meeting for 2025 was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB first Peren, Hiazu Meru at Deputy Commissioner Office conference hall, Peren at new district headquarter Peren on January 6.
Deputy Commissioner, Hiazu Meru conveyed New Year wishes to all the officers present in the meeting and expressed his thankfulness to all the departments for their cooperation during Unity Mini Hornbill Festival which was held last year from December 5 to 7, 2024 and added that the Unity Mini Hornbill Festival will be the annual event. He urged them to give their more support even this year. Meru also informed the district officers to submit their departmental profile on or before January 2025.
The house discussed on the green Peren initiative and encouraged the positive impact of the farmers and entrepreneurs of the district in the near future. Deputy Commissioner apprised the members on reports in regard to the work process of National Highway in the district. The Deputy Commissioner also called upon the officers to clear their respective office areas in order to prevent jungle fires during this dry season. District Land Record Survey and Youth Resources Department were entrusted to present their activities in the next DPDB meeting, stated a DIPR report.
Meeting held for R-Day celebration
Peren district Administration along with district officers held a meeting held for the upcoming Republic Day celebration and work distribution under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Peren Hiazu Meru on January 6. The house resolved to commence parade practice from 22nd January and it unanimously decided to have mass social work on January 25.
