Peren, August 8 (MExN): An Open Football Penalty Shootout Festival organised by Team One is scheduled to be held on August 12 at Local Ground, Peren Town. With the theme “Kick out bogus votes”, the tournament aims to create awareness and sensitise participants on clean election. The tournament carries cash prize of Rs 15000 with all the prizes sponsored by members of Team One. The tournament shall be played on a knock out basis while a team shall consist of 5 players. The registration fee is a nominal amount of Rs 500. A press release from Team One has requested people from all walks of life and social organisations under Peren district to come out in large numbers and participate in this journey to bring change, forms for which has been made available at Hinterland Icon, Peren and Slimt Enterprises, Jalukie.
