Peren, November 13 (MExN): The College of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, Jalukie took seven progressive farmers from Peren district to the Regional Agri Fair organized by the Central Agricultural University (CAU) at the College of Fisheries, Agartala from November 5 to 7. The aim was to provide an exposure regarding the technological advances in integrated farming to double the income of the farmers, informed a press release from Dr. Capt. G. Dhanan Jaya Rao, Dean of the college.
This is the second time that farmers from Peren district have been taken to the Regional Agri Fair conducted by the CAU by Dr. Capt. G. Dhanan Jaya Rao, M.V. Sc., Ph.D. The farmers were from New Jalukie, Old Tesen, Punglwa- B and Jalukie-B.
