Perizie colony wins Amity Cup

Perizie colony today emerged as the champions of Amity Cup 2019, an inter-colony penalty shootout tournament held here at Indira Gandhi Stadium.

Perizie colony defeated Upper Bayavü-A in the final 4-1 to win the cup.

The champion Perizie Colony received Rs 10, 000 while runner- up team Upper Bayavü-A received Rs. 5000.

The best goalkeeper was awarded to Vizovor Liezietsu of Perizie Colony and pocketed Rs 1000. 
The tournament was jointly organised by the colony youth organizations under Kohima Municipal Council Ward-1 (High School), Ward-2 (Bayavü) and Ward-3 (North Block).

32 teams from 11 colonies joined the tournament.

Earlier, MLA Khriehu Liezietsu graced the occasion as the special guest.
