CHEN, September 22 (MExN): A total of 5 Oxygenated Beds were dedicated by Pastor, Chen Town Baptist Church, Wangket at Primary Health Centre, Chen on September 20.
The medical equipment and consumables for augmenting the health infrastructure at PHC Chen were donated by Ashraya Hastha Trust, Bengaluru under the initiative of District Administration Mon through Mantra &Suriya Foundation, Bengaluru, a DIPR report informed.
The equipment donated included 5 Semi- Fowler Beds; 5 Oxygen Concentrators ; 5 Flowmeters; 5 Stabilozers, 5 Pulse Oximeters; 2 boxes of Hand Gloves; 100 N95 Masks; 100 Face Shields; 3 Extension Box; 1 BP apparatus; 50 Bed & Pillow Covers,5 Stand Fans and an Inverter.
The setting up of Oxygenated Beds will augment the health infrastructure in Chen Sub-Division during the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond, the report said.
The Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS, SDO (C), Chen, Relise Sangtam, representative from Suriya Foundation, Mantra & Ashraya Hastha Trust, Officials and Staffs of PHC Chen and civil society organizations were present at the dedication.
Meanwhile, DC Thavaseelan conveyed gratitude to Ashraya Hastha Trust, Mantra &Suriya Foundation, Bengaluru for their kind gesture and requested for their continued support beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.
The programmed was chaired by MO, PHC Chen, Dr Shokwang Konyak and vote of thanks was delivered by SDO (C), Chen, the report added.
