PHC Khonoma organises health camp

Khonoma, November 12 (MExN): A health camp was organised on November 11 at Council Hall Terhotsiese, Khonoma, by the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Khonoma under the Village Adoption Programme of the 8 Western Angami Assembly Constituency.

The medical team comprised Dr Adunu Richa- BHMS, PGDEMS (MO AHWC Kezo-Town); Dr Ketoukhrieii Metha-Dental Surgeon (MO Dental, CHC Tsemenyu); Optom Kezhangulie Mepfhuo (Consultant Optometrist DEIC NHAK); Rokuotho Ngouri (NCD Supervisor, Kohima District), and the staff of PHC Khonoma, in coordination with the Village Council Member Khonoma.

A brief programme was held before the camp, where Dr Teputo Richa, Medical Officer in charge of PHC Khonoma, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the activities that would be conducted. 

This was followed by a speech from Village Chairman Ratsavllie Ratsa.

A total of 69 people availed themselves of the free medical check-up and medicine, and 47 of theme were screened NCD, 20 for Dental OPD, 29 for Eye OPD, and 21 for General OPD.
