A review meeting of the PHE department took place here today at PHED Conference hall with the participation of all officers of the department from executive engineers and above.
The meeting took stock of the progress made so far during the year against the fixed year’s targets on various programs under the department.
Er Kevisekho Kruse, Chief Engineer, PHED addressed the gathering touching upon various vital issues of the department, while also expressing his optimistic view that with the large body of good officers serving in the department, and with the positive attitude of committed service and hard work, there is no reason why the department should not move ahead and make a difference in the near future.
Er K.G. Sumi, Director WSSO and Er Repang Longkumer the SE(M&I) also dealt in detail on implementation of projects concerning water and sanitation.
Er Walter J. Longchar, the Addl. Chief Engineer , PHED chaired the meeting.
