Stage set for 27th wrestling meet of Phek Area Wrestling Association (PAWA).
Phek, January 31 (MExN): The 27th Senior and 2nd Under 16 wrestling meet 2022 of Phek Area Wrestling Association (PAWA) will take place on February 1 Phek town local ground.
A total of 46 wrestlers for senior category and 18 for U-16 will vie for the coveted champion title.
The inaugural programme will begin at 9:00 AM with MLA Küzholüzo (Azo) Nienu as the special guest and MLA Yitachu as guest of honour.
Hükhoneyi Soho, convenor Nagaland Wrestling Referee Board will be the chief referee.
In view of COVID-19 pandemic, the Organizing Committee appealed all the spectators to strictly follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and follows all directives of the government for the safety of the general public.
