Phek, November 13 (MExN): The Phek District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held in the presence of Chairman DPDB and Minister for Power & Parliament Affairs, KG Kenye and Advisor for New & Renewal and MSDMA, Z Nyusietho Nyuthe at DPDB Hall Phek on November 10 last.
A DIPR report stated that the Deputy Commissioner Phek, Kuko Mero who chaired the meeting welcomed the members present. This was followed by a PowerPoint presentation from the Agriculture Department on various development activities being undertaken in Phek district was presented by the DAO Phek, Neikhotuonuo.
After a lengthy discussion for the celebration of 50 years of Phek district, various committees presented their status report to the house.
KG Kenye acknowledged his confidence and expressed his appreciation towards all the committee members for taking up all the various responsibilities assigned to them with sincerity and enthusiasm.
Advisor, Z Nyusietho Nyuthe while speaking for successful celebrations of 50 years of Phek district reminded all officers posted in the district to be regular and available in their station and encouraged them to be efficient to redress the public grievances of the district.
