Students take aim during the archery coaching camp at GHS Losami.

LOSAMI, MARCH 23 (MExN): The Phek District Archery Association (PDAA) successfully concluded its first free archery coaching camp at Government High School (GHS) Losami, drawing participation from over 100 students.
In a press release, PDAA General Secretary Besuta Vero expressed gratitude to individuals, organizations, and institutional heads for their support in making the event a success. He acknowledged the challenges of organizing the camp but emphasized the rewarding experience of seeing young archers demonstrate interest and perseverance.
The PDAA extended appreciation to its president, Dr. Chotisuh Sazo, and members for their support, as well as to Hunezo Thisa, state archery coach from the Department of Youth Resources and Sports (DYRS), Kohima, for his guidance.
Students from GHS Chetheba, GHS Losami, GHSS Phek, and GHSS Chozuba participated in the camp, which was led by NIS-qualified coaches Khosazo Thisa and Besuta Vero. The PDAA plans to expand its reach and host a district archery championship next month.
