Phek, January 18 (MExN): Zaveyi Nyekha, Retd Principal Director of School Education on Wednesday inaugurated the Suthozu Nasa village gate in Phek district.
In his address, Nyekha stated that occasion marks the onset on new era and called upon the village citizens to maintain oneness and get rid of evils and clanism that destroys the harmony and peace. He exhorted the youth to live a life of principle and live by the sweat and not look for shortcuts to become rich as that will often land one in trouble. Towards this, Nyekha also invoked longevity among the citizens of the village, bountiful harvest and exhorts the community to give emphasised to education for all round development.
Thujongoyi Nyekha, Convenor Gate Construction Committee presented report of gate construction; Porayi Nyekha, eldest village citizen presented an account of village formation.
