Winners of the literary competition with the speaker Jonathan Chang and the members of Phinjem editorial board.

Dimapur, February 21 (MExN): Phinjem, the media organ of Chang Baptist Church Dimapur conducted literary competition to observe International Mother Language Day with ‘Transformation of education through mother language’ as the theme on February 21.
A press release received here stated that in the spell bee under Class VII-IX category Manchem was adjudged first followed by, Betimonyu and Yangkamsangla as 2nd and 3rd respectively.
In the Class X-XII category of the spell bee Samuel and Yaselemla got 1st and 2nd. In the essay competition I Limba, Napem mongba, and N Chingmak got 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. All the winners were awarded with certificates along with cash prize of Rs 3000, 2000 and 1500 respectively.
The programme was attended by officials from Chang Union Dimapur, Changsao Thangjam Dimapur and Chang Students’ Union Dimapur.
Asüngba Imlong, former member of the Phinjem editorial board chaired the programme while Jonathan Chang, Mission Coordinator, NMM and former Secretary of Chang Literature Board was the speaker.
