Dimapur, February 28 (MExN): National Science Day was observed by the students of Pilgrim Higher Secondary School on February 28 to mark the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ in 1928 by Indian Physicist CV Raman.
According to a press release, a street play, video presentation on the formation of the Earth and Moon marked the event. An exhibition of Science laboratory tools was opened in the School Science laboratory by Principal Kaini Khekho Kikon in the presence of students from Classes 1 to 3.
The theme of National Science Day- ‘Global Science for Global Wellbeing’ was extensively discussed during the event which was organised by the Science department of the School, the release stated.
