Nagaland Ist handmade jewellery exhibition by Pipo in collaboration with Nagaland handmade Jewellery brands and powered by Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) was held on October 18 at Hotel Japfii Kohima under the theme “Celebrating craftsmanship.”


The exhibition showcased the products of ZABEN, Lusano Sophie, Myrtle, Aben Jewellery, Inla’s Genesis, Pipo, Lorenzas by Nzano and Munye Handmade Nagaland.


The event is part of celebrating the craftsmanship of Naga Jewellery makers. It is kind of platform to expose the jewellery makers and brands of Naga Jewellers.

The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Imtisangla Jamir, project manager, Made in Nagaland- YouthNet.


Tetseo Sisters also present on the occasion as quest of honour. TaFMA project director Dr. Hovithal Sothu also visited the exhibition. Pipo meaning “a collection of accessories and clothing”, originated from dialect Lotha Naga tribe (Pipo Siimo), was established in year 2016 by Thungchibemo Ezung.


Ezung is a student of class 11 from Dainty Buds School, Kohima.


Pipo has got its recognition as sponsors of Mister Kohima and FBB Colours Femina Miss India Nagaland 2019 – Marina Kiho. It has started shipping its products globally by 2019.
